Are there any other study methods available?

There are many Tovana (Vipassana) meditation courses, based on various traditions, taking place in Israel and abroad. The courses vary in length, teaching methods and the intensity level of the practice and daily schedule.

In Israel, courses include Vipassana courses based on the teachings of SN Goenka (stemming from the Burmese tradition), the Vietnamese Zen Buddhist Thich Nhat Hanh as well as courses and teachings based on various Tibetan traditions (the 'Dharma Friends' and more)

Most of the teachers who teach in the Tovana courses come from the Vipassana tradition as it is taught in the Forrest monasteries in Thailand, and base their practice on these traditions, sometimes as monks/nuns.
