Rosh Hashna-Yom Kippur retreat with Stephen Fulder and Lila kimhi

02/10/2011 to 09/10/2011
Event category:
Start time: Sunday 00:00
End time: Sunday 00:59

This retreat - from the end of Rosh Hashana to the end of Yom Kipur - is a very special  and unique retreat in the Tovana program.
It is an opportunity to engage in deep practice of insight meditation and mindfulness during the most meaningful days of the Jewish Calender.
It is a special time to reflect on who we are, where we have come from and where we are going, symbolised by Rosh Hashana as the celebration of creation, and Yom Kippur as celebration of fate.
We will spend most of the time in guided contemplative practice. The teachings will concentrate on karma, on purification and spiritual renewal ('Teshuva'), and on ways of recruiting our authentic wisdom form both Jewish and Buddhist sources.
