Event category:
Start time: Thursday 00:00
End time: Thursday 23:59

Vipassana is a technique based on a combination of calm and focused awareness of processes within the body and mind, and assists in developing skills for coping with the vicissitudes of life, fostering peace, wisdom and compassion.

Whether you have already experienced insight meditation or you are embarking on this journey for the first time, this course will provide an opportunity to devote your full attention to practicing the technique under optimal conditions.

Most of the day is devoted to sitting and walking meditation (alternating between the two), for set amounts of time. Every day specific guidelines will be provided regarding the meditation technique, and every evening a dharma talk will be given by one of the teachers, on the principles of meditation and their relevance to our daily personal lives.

During the retreat, group discussions will be held with the teachers, where participants may share and examine their experiences together.

Teachers will also be available for personal meetings.

The retreat is open to new and experienced practitioners.

Arrival at Ein-Dor is between 15:00-16:30 for registration. The course will end at 13:00.
