'Insight meditation' is a practice rooted in the buddhist tradition, with the objective of enabling us to understand and experience day to day life in a deeper and clearer way. The basic asumption of 'Insight meditation'  is that observation and clear sight (vipassana) of reality may bring an ease to  daily hardships and pain and improve the quality of life for practitioners and those surrounding them.

'Insight meditation' sharpens the mental and emotional capabilities of the practioner, and develops his ability to stop and observe himself and the situatiion he's in without judgement, and minimal influence of prejudice, fears and habits. 'Insight meditation' increases the awareness and connection to the world we live in. This meditation is based on the 'Dharma', a buddhist philosophy which offers a lifestyle based on mental, emotional and moral progression. The 'Dharma' facilitates intuitive human wisdom that includes more than just knowledge. It contributes to our ability to relate in ways that are not interest-based, and awaken qualities of generosity, love and compassion which exists in all of us, even when we're not aware of them.
