Dharma in Action: an exploration of ethics, action and compassion with Christopher Titmuss
Dharma in Action:
an exploration of ethics, action and compassion.
Facilitators: Christopher Titmuss, Zohar Lavie and Aviv Tatarsky
The Buddha emphasised all aspects of human life. The noble path calls upon us to look deeply at the way we think, speak and act in order to develop wisdom and compassion.
On this retreat, we will examine how these teachings (Dharma) and practices can support ourselves and others on the journey to an awakened life. We will look closely at our own lives and our power to shed light on our actions.
What social forces condition our minds and hearts?
How do we apply our practice to inner and outer change?
What stops us expanding compassion beyond people we know?
We will include meditative exercises to inquire into our commitments and actions. There will be periods of silence and periods for communication.
